Protective rhinoplasty surgery is performed under general anesthesia. The average operation time takes 2 hours. It is applied with the closed method in which incisions are made through the nose, which prevents the formation of an incision visible at the tip of the nose. First, the cartilages are removed to correct the curved parts of the nasal midline septum cartilage, if any. Various grafts are used to fix these cartilages. Afterwards, the nasal tip cartilages are delivered and brought to their natural shape.

If there is a curvature or arch on the back of the nose, the cartilage tissues are cut and removed, the nasal ridge is corrected and the tip of the nose is positioned appropriately. The operation is completed with a splint / splint and protective tape.
Within a week, the recovery is largely completed quickly. During the recovery period, heavy exercise should not be done for a few weeks, alcohol and cigarette should not be consumed for a week, and should not be exposed to sunlight.
